The State and Federal Departments of Labor have established regulations requiring that employees be updated on a regular basis concerning the chemicals within their workplace. Under the NY State Dept. of Labor, the Public Employees Safety & Health Administration (PESH) is responsible for overseeing the implementation of these regulations for state employees and school district personnel.
