Grade 3-4 - Sensory Story: A Walk in the Woods |

Location: Fields, Woods, and Wet Area Around the School Time: One Hour Standards: MST: 4,6 ART: 1 ELA: 1, 2, 4 Description: This is primarily a sensory activity for the students. They are given a story describing a walk. They search for natural items as props that can be used to highlight the sensory aspect of the story. Blindfolded students will use their sense of touch, smell and hearing as the story unfolds. (Follow–up: The students can create their own stories and lists of props.)
