Location: A Wet Area Near School Grounds Preferably a Stream or a Field Trip to BOCES

Time:  Adjusted to Fit Your Schedule

Standards: MST: 1,4,7  ELA: 1,4  

Description: Students will explore the edges of a pond or stream looking for invertebrate life.  Once they have captured it, they will work at identifying it.  They will also learn about the adult forms.  The student will develop an understanding of the different ways underwater creatures obtain oxygen.
