Contemporary Issues
Course Description:
Students will learn the means to become informed on current events occurring in the world around them in order to make their own sound judgments on important matters they will have to face in their adult lives.
Areas of investigation include politics, economics, science, health, technology, and any others that are relevant today.
Students will observe, present, and discuss these weekly via news programs
Students will research data to investigate all aspects of a current topic, review it adequately for understanding and relay it to classmates
Students will actively provide insights and react to information presented
Interaction will take place in an online format using Moodle!
